FöngCyùn District / 芳村區
Fangcun (Chinese: 芳村), formerly known as Fati , from its Cantonese pronunciation (Chinese: 花地) is a place in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It lies the southwest of Guangzhou's central business district and south of the Pearl River. It has been well-known for its flower planting since as early as the 9th century.[1] It was an independent district of Guangzhou called "Fangcun District" (simplified Chinese: 芳村区), but it was withdrawn and merged to Liwan District in 2005.[2][3]
